The Unisus Approach
The majority of the clients we work with are disabled or have a health condition. We empower those we work with to be the best version of themselves and we do this through home care, counselling, employability training, meditation and reiki. We work with clients from all walks of life, in particular with people who have disabilities and health conditions and we have a particular interest in working with people with neurological conditions and acquired brain injury. We work with other client groups too and have vast experience of working with people from a range of different backgrounds.
Our new domiciliary care service is committed to clear and efficient communication, high-quality care and person-centred support where we value our staff as well as our clients
Domiciliary care services

Looking for Work?
It can be difficult to be successful in getting a job, particularly when you haven’t applied for anything in a long time or you’ve had a change in your health since last time you applied.
We can provide you with the help you need to not only be successful and be offered the job, but we can be your critical friend.
We will give you emotional support, helping you to overcome those self defeating thoughts and interview nerves.
We work with people in groups on funded projects to support people into work and also to support other aspects of their lives. We help people to feel less isolated with our support group where you can meet others with a disability. We have a chat and a cuppa and we go out and about and do interesting things.
Thanks for the support! There are so many people doing counselling and so many people doing the careers, but you have a unique way of bringing the two together into a winning formula!
Debbie Carr – Boldon
We will give you emotional support – we will be your biggest supporter and help you overcome those self defeating thoughts, give you tips to overcome the interview nerves and help you identify what makes you the best person for the job.
We recognise the need to maintain a healthy mind and can support you through our counselling, meditation and reiki services to reach your goal.
We also have a support group to help you make new friends. Sometimes we have a chat and a cuppa and other times we go out and about to interesting places.

This blog is a guest post from Tracey Hutchinson from People Excellence Performance Reframing with a Greyhound. One of my greyhounds is very worried about other dogs. His instinct is to bark and lunge when we see them out and about. I’m not sure why; he’s always been that way. I have a suspicion that […]
